In excellent condition the car has been built to incorporate the Autodelta Trofeo factory race kit which includes flared guards, large front and rear spoilers, vented inboard disc brakes with larger calipers, poly bushes all-round, Koni shock absorbers and genuine Speedline wheels 13 inch by 8 inch wide with Dunlop racing tyres. It also runs a front splitter below the spoiler.

The boxer engine is unique, combining a 1700 crankshaft with a 1500 block to give 1600 CC capacity. It has forged JE high compression pistons, tri-metal bearings, polished and ported head with high lift Trofeo camshaft and Cosworth value springs. It has a fuel swirl pot and electric fuel pumps in the boot area together with a lightweight battery.

The engine is fuel injected with a Motec M4 control system and new downdraught inlet manifolds. It has a dry sump oil system with a large purpose-built aluminum catch tank. The flywheel is special purpose machined from solid billet steel and runs a four spot button ceramic racing clutch. It has a custom made four into one tuned length exhaust system with side pipe.

The gearbox is a close ratio 1200 version and there is a spare refurbished 1200 gearbox fitted with a new Quaife limited slip diff (new and unused) for an additional cost.

The front brakes also include outboard 33 calipers and this in addition to the Trofeo inboard brakes. It has an adjustable brake bias. The car also has a Rallymaster race seat and Sabelt racing four-point seatbelt together with a Sparco Steering Wheel. It has an aluminum Bond roll cage and fire extinguisher together with a quick flick ignition isolation switch and starter button.
