This car is being relisted due to a change of direction.
I think this is the best Mazda FD RX7 Tarmac Rally car in Australia.
This car was built in 2014-15 to win Tarmac rallies. In its 2nd rally (2015 Great Tarmac Rally) it finished 2nd outright and then in 2016 Targa Tasmania it was the winner of the Early Modern category and 8th outright.
This was built to the CAMs Tarmac Regulations and runs on 98octane. It was built with reliability in mind. This is a turn key car, ready to drive away with NSW rally rego.
The engine was built, tuned and maintained by Ric Shaw. It has one of the latest Borg Warner EFR turbos, Albins close ratio gearbox, 4.44 diff, big injectors, high performance coils, massive front and rear brakes, Gold MCA three way suspension, Bond roll cage, lowered floors for easy access, rally safe 6 X Enkei wheels, genuine SP carbon fibre nose cone, Sparco winged seats, removable steering wheel, boost gauge, Race Technology Dash 2 Pro, Stilo Intercom, Adaptronic engine management, AP Racing brakes front and rear.
The car has just had many items rebuilt as we had entered in the Bathurst 12hr this year. Due to time restraints it has been withdrawn. It now has new, clutch, brand new Adaptronic modular ECU, hubs, wheel bearings, long wheel studs, fuel system including a dry brake setup, New N Flow allow radiator, new discs and endless endurance pads, sway bars, diff cooler etc etc etc
The passenger seat, intercom, passenger footrest and rally springs have been removed ready for Bathurst but go with the car for easy changeover.
This car is the ultimate tarmac car and is eligible for Prod sports racing and many other categories to keep you busy AND it is currently registered in NSW with rally rego.
Still at the original price $36k. Cheap really, now much less than 1/3 of the build cost.
