1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution RS

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is the Japanese brand's flagship sports car. The Evo is a rally inspired turbo charged, all-wheel drive, durable and finely tuned automobile. In 1999 when the Evo VI entered the rally scene it presented changes focused on cooling and engine durability. It was this model that saw the Evo's enter American markets as car enthusiasts demanded its introduction into the US. It was also around this time that Tommi Antero Makinen was solidifying his prominence in the world rally championships behind the wheel of slightly modified Group A Lancer Evolution rally car.
This 1999 Lancer Evo RS 6 is the light weight, rally sport edition of the commonly found Lancer Evo 6. These cars are RARE to find, especially in Australia and you'd be hard pressed to find a similar car currently on the market. This car is circuit ready and has had an array of performance-based modifications. The car has only seen 60,000Km and has been maintained to a very high standard. The car is currently registered with safety certificate.
