In it's original configuration this car won the UK Sports 2000 Series, driven by Ian Taylor. The rolling chassis was imported into Australia in 1982 and modified to run in the 1983 Australian Sports Car Championship. A new FT-200 and a "270 bhp" Mazda Rotary 12A PP were installed along with wider wheels and larger brakes. 1980 TIGA SC80 Group R Historic Sports 2000. CAMS log booked and C of D. Dry sumped 2L Ford Pinto engine, Mk 9 Hewland, Koni shocks, 3/4 aluminium alloy monocoque with rear engine and transaxle subframe. The sale includes 12 wheels, comprising of a set of wets, and two sets of drys. Spares include additional gear ratios, springs and a spare Pinto engine (not prepared for racing). A really quick car which has provided me with plenty of success, and an excellent way to get into historic racing
