A rare and exceptional early pull handle MGB, sold new in Australia and in a fully restored condition. This car underwent a major restoration and mechanical upgrade nearly 25 years ago and has been stored in a private collection ever since. It has the following specifications.

Fully rebuilt Rover 3.5 V8 engine with 3.9 fuel injection managed by a Haltek F9 ECU.
5 Speed Toyota Supra gearbox.
Front brakes are 4 pot calipers with ventilated disks.
Rear brakes are Nissan disks and pads.
Borg Warner limited slip differential.

Interior is classic MGB with a period cassette radio and a GPS analogue speedometer. It has a new hood, new tyres and 15" Supalite wheels.
The body is in perfect condition, painted its original Monza Red.

There are no V8 badges or outward signs of its specifications other than the lovely V8 burble as it lopes along at 2000 rpm. On full song its a different matter of course.

The car comes with all its paperwork and has been registered in both SA and Victoria. It is currently on club plates and only driven on the road on a dry day. It would of course suit other uses such as rallying, hill climb and race day use, and possibly historic racing with a few mods.

This is a very enjoyable car to drive, very tight and responsive with amazing braking capabilities. This is not your average back yard V8 conversion and will not be sold as such. If you are serious about wanting a unique early model MGB then it is certainly worth a look.
