This stunning 1966 Mustang GT350 Tribute represents the best of classic American muscle — beautifully rebuilt by a team of retired engineers and automotive technicians who approached the project with precision and passion. Originally imported from Alabama in 2005, the car has now undergone a comprehensive fresh rebuild to an exceptional standard, combining classic Shelby-inspired styling with serious performance hardware.
Under the hood is a freshly built Windsor 302 V8 producing approximately 400 hp. It is equipped with alloy cylinder heads, roller rockers, a performance camshaft, new Hooker Competition Headers, and an Edelbrock Performer 1406 4-barrel carburettor — a proven combination for both strong street performance and classic V8 character.
Power is delivered through a brand new 5-speed Tremec T5 transmission feeding a Ford 9-inch rear axle fitted with tramp rods for improved traction. A new custom stainless-steel 2.5-inch dual exhaust system delivers an unmistakable soundtrack.
The car benefits from uprated braking and suspension to match its power. Up front, new boosted disc brakes provide modern stopping performance, while the rear braking system has been fully re-engineered with new drums, shoes, and a correct handbrake mechanism, replacing the non-existent setup it previously had.
Presented in a new show-quality, professionally applied two-pack paint finish, the exterior proudly wears painted Shelby-style stripes — not decals — for an authentic look. The original body had all rust repaired with new panels or patches during and as you can see from the image gallery, the Mustang turns heads wherever it goes.
Inside, the car features an excellent interior with upgraded high-back seats for enhanced comfort and support, while subtle trim details add a touch of bespoke craftsmanship without losing the original aesthetic. A wooden steering wheel and suite of period-correct dials complement the car perfectly, finished off with Shelby badging on the dash and door sills. As you can see from the image gallery, the inside of the Mustang is a very nice place to be.
