Just imagine cruising to the cafe in this Italian dream! There would be very few Alfa 105 GTV’s on the planet that have completed the London to Sydney Car Marathon. Yet you have a chance to own this unique car. This car is one of one!

This car has full NSW rego with all modifications engineered (with report). So no need to worry about history log book rego. Drive this baby as many days as you darn well like. It was retired from competition when it completed the London to Sydney Car Marathon 22 years ago and has been kept in its original competition state. So you have an incredibly iconic car with an absolutely unique story. It turns heads and is the real deal.

With the car comes pace notes (half of them), boxes of spares (from the actual event), 2 spare gear boxes, spare Comodora rims, 2 spare wheels (as carried in the event). I also have sourced pictures and other information from the LSM 2000. It is an incredible journey that included two lifts in a Russian Antonov (aircraft) that carried the car over troubled areas as well as to Perth.

Plus the car is log booked! I managed to find the it’s original log number and get it reinstated by CAMS. It still has its original number plates that it ran in the event.

The car runs it’s origInal engine. It has an Alfa GTV 2000 rear differential. This was added for the limited slip differential (LSD). It has a racing fuel cell replaced in 2018, dual electric fuel pumps, bash plates, re-enforcement, roll cage, rear storage compartment (in place of rear seat), intercom headsets, racing seats, Terratrip computer, plumber fire extinguisher, additional gauges, brake bias (front / rear), manual thermo fan, 5 point harness (recent) as well as lap sash. There is also map reading light, a horn (yes amazing) and a high beam flash foot switch for the co-driver.

Within the last two years the car has had a new clutch, new brake callipers, refurbished Proflex suspension (by MCA). The tyres have had little work but probably are getting a little hard. There is a little body work needed in places (small rust spots) but overall the body is pretty good.

To summarise, an iconic car with a unique story from a car maker than creates passion like no other. Restore her further, Targa maybe or just for the love of it.
