1969 Mallock U2 - MK8B

This very special Mallock U2 started life in New Zealand racing in the clubman classes until approximately 1978 when it was purchased by a new owner for competing in the SCANZ National sports car championship with the following specifications.

Lotus twin cam engine, fuel injected and turbocharged producing around 300hp.
Alfa 105 5 speed gearbox
McLaren M4A front disk and brake calipers.
Brabham rear AP racing calipers
All Brabham F1 racing wheels
Dry sumped oil system.

Car went on to win more than 4 National championships, set lap records at all NZ circuits, some outright.

Would be a very competitive car in today's Historic Racing.

Car is currently undergoing a full restoration to its championship winning specification and will be finished in the coming months. Has a fully documented history and I am looking for any interest.
