Group U eligibility Torana LC GTR / XU1 sports sedan.
This car is definatley a factory plated LC GTR Torana, I was told to be also XU1 by the last owner but cannot confirm ( 2 ID plates ) the body has had outer wheel arch mods to fit 10 inch wheels all round I have rear arch cut outs from a donor car if the new owner wants to remove the flares. It has had a bit of panel caressing on the tunnel to fit the v8 but not too much. Fiberglass bonnet and boot, The doors are steel with all winders, all factory glass has racing dings underneath from regular race track use. Bolt in alloy roll cage ok for this class. The paint is Lamborghini orange painted over all the historic colours underneath. Recently fitted is a fresh 304, New ice ignition, Ice Coil, Ice Distributer Ice Rev limiter new Edelbrock 650 carb, New manifold, New headers, Mal wood underdash clutch and centre bearing thrust. It has a ford t5 gearbox and a Narrowed borg warner from a ss commodore with ss disc brakes, New wilwood master cyl and proportioning valve comes with 8x15 and 10x15 hotwires with avon wets and 5 10x15 jellybeans with goodyear slicks ..I will also sell 10k less as a roller minus all v8 upgrades can also supply gtr dash su carbs and other torana parts I have collected for extra. I have tried to keep as much historic old mods and features with the car to keep the nostalgic feeling $49500 or $39500 rolling
It has only done one kharnacross event a d one hillclimb with the v8 setup so about 5km..
so go racing as I did or strip and restore to its factory glory..
