1972 ELFIN Formula Ford 600

This historic 1972 ELFIN Formula Ford 600 has 1598cc Ford Kent crossflow 4 cylinder engine, with Hewland Mk8 5-speed gearbox + Disc brakes.
Chassis is tubular steel space frame, Weight 395kg , Dimensions length: 3780mm, wheelbase 2365mm
It is being sold together with its custom made, road registered Box Trailer (see images), included in sale price. Also comes with all paperwork, logbooks, gears, extra wheel hubs, extra windscreen, lamps etc.

This was the last 600 Formula Ford - and last production 600 of any class built = #17 of 17.
This Elfin 600FF was meticulously maintained by its late owner/driver and serviced by Larner Engines, and is now being sold by his widow as she is not a racer.

It has a rich provenance and has previously been owned and raced by legends of the historic racing scene:
