1974 Holden Torana LH

This Unique Holden Torana will surpass all expectations in performance.
An Genuine 1974 SL/R 5000.
Registered in Western Australia, the car is currently positioned in South Australia.
Only a hand full painted in this Factory colour.
Engine, gearbox , clutch , shocks, and diff have done less than 4000km.

This car had a bare metal repaint about 25 years ago and has been garaged ever since.

The car has been developed over the last 30 years to be a very capable competition vehicle mainly aimed at Targa style events with a CAM’s approved roll cage and is Log Booked

This Engine was fully rebuilt by Performance Technics and has only done about 3000km.
355 stroker, new block ,4 bolt main , K-line lifter inserts, Harrop crank, new rods and pistons,Dave Bennett -9 VN style heads with Yellow Terra roller rockers,Harrop high raise inlet manifold , Barry Grant Gold Claw carburettor( new carbi kit 2 weeks ago) Electric CVR water pump ( new) PWR Aluminium radiator and twin Thermo fans. 120Amp alternator.
500HP , 400ft/Lb and redlines @7000 rpm. MSD rev limiter set @ 6500rpm and now running an iShift progressive shift light which is set at 6200rpm.

This engine setup is matched with a G-Force T5 super tough 5 speed ,straight cut ,close ratio dog box.

Extreme button paddle clutch plate(sprung) lightened billet flywheel and a Malwood ACE hydraulic centre through-out bearing couple together with Tilton 600 series race pedals.

The diff is a VL borg Warner 5lr with Romac full floater hubs, a Kazz limited slip centre 3.7 ratio( packed in Race configuration) .

Koni bumper and rebound adjustable shock absorbers. sway bars and 24mm front and 19mm rear.
Front springs are 1100lb and the rear 240lb.
Brakes
Front 330mm ventilated /slotted disc and Brembo 4pot calipers and Pagid Blue pads
Rear ventilated commodore disc and RX7 4pot calipers.
Hydraulic hand brake.
Wheels—- Shimons OM 17/8 inch (4) 17/9inch (2).
Fuel system
120Lt foam filled Aluminium drop tank with 2 submersible fuel pump, external swirl pot and a Barry Grant 220 main fuel pump.new -6 Teflon braided hoses.

The car has just had a full re-wire ,new RedTop Optima battery OCT22.

Electric power assist power steering which is one of the best performance upgrades carried out which has made the car so much easier to drive and control.
