1983 Maurer MM83

Maurer MM83 European Formula 2 racecar available now in Australia.

Car was first 83 chassis 01 built & tested before euro F2 season.
It has had a brief South African Atlantic history with the DAW team & Euro Sportscar (Interserie) history.

The car was put back into full 1980's F2 trim (in Germany) in the mid 2000's before being purchased by current owners.
It has had minimal running & competed in only one non competitive sprint event in the last decade.

This car was rebuilt before purchase with a fresh FG400 & BMW M12/7 and has done only a couple of hours work since.
The cars general condition is excellent & better than other MM83 chassis viewed when purchased.
It was prepared for an historic Group R F2 Series racing program in Australia which didn't eventuate.
It has been in storage for a few years so brake, clutch & fuel systems will need attention.

The car has a CAMS Certificate of description/logbook & is eligible for the Group 'R' historic open wheel classes.
Spares include 4 sets of wheels, BBS & Dymag Monobloc, wishbones front & rear, uprights, rear rockers, spare radiator, chassis springs, nose boxes etc.
