ST185 GT4 JDA Celica

Only a handful of these cars were bought into Australia. They are a specific lightweight build with the sole purpose of being a competition vehicle. They are built without luxuries – No radio, electric windows, rear wiper etc. The vehicle was imported under the rally registration rules in 2002. The car was fitted out with cage etc. for Targa Tas in 2005.
The car is currently log booked with MA (CAMS). The car is beautifully balanced, has an amazing level of grip and handles like it is on rails.
Engine has forged internals, was blueprinted, and decked. Competition timing belt kit, lightened flywheel, and button clutch. Standard turbo and manifold as per regs, front mounted intercooler with silicone hoses and running Autronic ECU. Custom alloy catch can, custom air box, K&N air filter with cold air intake. Remote oil filter, PRW cooler, standard gearbox, and power steering coolers. Vehicle has triple core alloy race radiator.
Gearbox is Toyota close ratio with factory front, rear, and centre diffs. All numbers on this car match.
Interior has custom floor rests, Velo GP3 seats, CAMS approved 6-point cage. Custom alloy battery box, custom wiring loom from the firewall back, custom centre console, Velo helmet hammock, Velo spare wheel tie down and Terratrip 202.
Struts are standard Toyota with King springs and Koni adjustable shocks. Sway bars are standard and camber pins have been fitted to the front. All bushes replace with neoprene. Front brakes are Wilwood 4 pot with Supra discs. The rear are standard. There are 6 17” Driftech wheels.
Vehicle is set up in tarmac trim.
Most of the exterior livery is painted. In very good condition with added decals where necessary.
The vehicle won a “best presented” award at the retro day in 2021.
All up a great package and a lot of fun to drive.
