1997 Honda EK Civic Road Registered Track Car

This car is a sleeper street car. With a couple of hours work, it transforms into a track car. It looks a bit rough as the paint is a bit faded, but is mechanically in great shape. I have only done three track days since I finished the car. It is very reliable at the track and has not had any issues.

There is absolutely no rust and the car has never been in an accident. This car is a very good daily drive as the air con works well and the car doesn't draw any unwanted attention.

Regretful sale, but have decided to go 4WDing with the family instead. You will not find a better way to get into track days or motorsport than this.

Details are:

- 1997 EK4 Civic VTiR. Everything works including aircon and power steering.

- B18C7 engine and S80 gearbox from a 2000 Integra DC2R. Approx 190,000km on the engine. Engine is registered to the car.

- All external engine gaskets replaced when installed and gearbox rebuilt (diff bearing was gone when I bought the engine). Engine runs very well, doesn't blow smoke and makes good power.

- Brakes are larger Nashin slotted and vented rotors with stock overhauled callipers. HEL braided brake lines. EBC 'Red Stuff' ceramic brake pads.

- Hasport urethane engine mounts

- Tein adjustable coilovers.

- Hardrace adjustable rear camber kit and Hardrace adjustable front upper control arm camber kit.

- Aluminium radiator. All hoses recently replaced with silicone hoses.

- X Force twin loop exhaust.

- Sunroof delete. Hole fully seam welded. Non sunroof factory roof lining installed.

- AGI bolt in half roll cage (CAMS approved)

- Front and rear strut tower braces as well as rear subframe brace.

- Cobra Monaco Pro race seat (with extra lumbar support) and RPM 6 point 3" harness. All harness eye bolts are to CAMS spec.

- Spare set of 15" alloy wheels for the track with Federal 595 RS RR semi slicks (205/50). Alloy road wheels with near new Continental and Maxxis tyres (195/50-15).

- Simota cold air intake with K&N pod filter.

- Carbon fibre rear spoiler.

- Remote central locking and alarm.

- Pioneer MP3 player with bluetooth and hands free phone connection. JBL speakers.

- Spare set of drive shafts and power steering pump.

- All receipts available and red master key included with two keys and alarm controllers.

This car is a great daily drive that you can park anywhere with no worries. This is a great buy for anyone who wants to get into doing track days, but doesn't want the hassle of storing an extra car or using a car trailer. Or, rip out and sell the interior and transform it into a full time track car.
