Internally designated by the factory as EV 2 (Experimental) prior to delivery, chassis 086 was one of only two cars to receive additional strengthening. This included re-welding of the chassis and the installation of a special lightweight wiring harness, resulting in a uniquely reinforced and highly optimised lightweight configuration.

Ownership Provenance:

2004 - 2025 Freisinger Motorsport

Retired from professional competition after the 2004season, the car remained in the ownership of Freisinger Motorsport and was subsequently used for occasional events, displays, and demonstrations.

Acquired earlier this year (2025) for race-preparation ahead of the 2026 Peter Auto season, this exceptional example of Porsche’s 996 RSR represents a rare opportunity to acquire one of the marque’s most celebrated GT competition cars.

A genuine, well-documented RSR with clear provenance and its iconic Yukos Racing livery, this car stands as one of the most recognisable entrants of its era. Eligible for prestigious historic motorsport events including LeMans Classic and Endurance Racing Legends in 2026 and beyond, it offers both superb provenance and outstanding potential for continued participation at the highest levels of historic GT competition.
