For Sale: 2007 Renault Megane R26 F1/RS230

Unfortunately after a short yet very sweet ownership of this liquid yellow treasure, it's sadly time to consider moving her on to make way for quite an unforeseen purchase.

Having only acquired it earlier this year in near-standard trim (with an impeccable and fully complete service/parts history) - I slowly begun transforming this R26 into an extremely capable, visceral and over-achieving road car for Sunday drives and the likes. Over $11k has been spent in upgrade parts alone during this short ~6 month ownership in order to further enhance the car's all-round performance, not only bringing it inline but exceeding most modern performance hatches in almost every metric.

The R26's have always been the pick of the litter when it comes to the Megane 2RS platform (being the highest spec'd model we received in Australia, even coming with a factory LSD unlike all other Megane 2RS's) - and with such a short production run and a limited supply in Australia (only 100 examples ever made it to our shores) - it's undoubtedly a future classic which is already reflected by recent increasing sales prices.

All modifications completed on the car are 'bolt on' in nature - thus completely reversible, making this example quite well suited to almost all buyer types - from collectors, to Sunday drivers, to those even wanting a VERY capable track car.

It currently sits on ~145,000kms, and for a peace of mind, comes with a complete booklet/spreadsheet outlining previous ownerships, maintenance part purchase/install dates, etc. The car is in great condition, with only some stone chips on the front end - but no actual damage present (and no accident history either).

For the purpose of pricing, I'd be prepared to let the lot (everything listed above in the ad) go for $20,000. The parts recently installed on the car alone could be sold for well over half that price, yet alone the loose parts & spares included, so unfortunately/fortunately - my loss may be your gain.

The car is located in Endeavour Hills VIC (SE suburbs of Melbourne), but am of course happy to faciliate interstate buyers also.
