Turn-key and log booked for the 2023 FSR, F1000 WA State Championship or NSW Championship, this JKS JR/01 is the 2023 F1000 State Championship car and finished all races in 2022 with 100% reliability.

Specification as follows:

Tubular spaceframe chassis, jig built, using 4130 chrome-moly and T45 steel tubing. Full length, multi-layer Kevlar anti intrusion panels fitted to the cockpit sides and extending down the footwell to the front bulkhead. Chassis is MSA certificated (Motorsports Australia approved). Fully bracketed and powder coated. Upper and lower suspension wishbones manufactured from oval profile T45. Pushrods and steering arms from round tube T45 with pushrods operating rockers to adjustable GAZ coil over damper units. Bodywork is three-piece GRP. One-piece GRP floor with a separate, easily replaceable, under-keel front section in multi-layer wood. Single element front wing with adjustment on mounting bracket and end plates.
Twin element rear wing with adjustment on end plates. Front-mounted aluminium impact absorbing crash box bolted to chassis inside of nose cone.
Engine is a Suzuki GSXR1000 K8, also fitted with a Dynojet Power Commander and mapped at 185bhp. Chain drive to a Quaife ATB differential with two equal length drive shafts with tripod joints. Bespoke stainless steel exhaust system with repackable silencer. Oil cooler in right sidepod. Double pass water radiator in left sidepod. Fitted with electric fan operated with manual override. Flatshifter Pro gearchange system fitted allowing full throttle, clutch-less upshifts, plus a rev matching throttle blipper ensuring seamless clutch-less downshifts. Bespoke paddle shift on steering wheel gear lever. Fuel sample/pump out port fitted and situated for easy access. Front uprights are CNC machined billet aluminium with double contact bearings. Rear uprights are jig built steel units with double contact bearings. Bespoke high ratio Titan steering rack. Wheels are 9 x 13 front and 10.5 x 13 rear. ATS F3 specification multi-spoke wheels currently fitted with Hankook slicks and mounted 2nd set with Hankook wets. Brakes are Alcon race calipers with bespoke 265mm slotted steel discs with Ferodo pads front and rear. Cockpit adjustable brake balance bar. Bespoke wiring loom incorporating ECU, Power Commander, Flatshifter and dash control switches and lights on the Racepak data logger with inbuilt shift lights on suede removable steering wheel.

This car was carrying 10KG of ballast therefore a 95KG driver could be right on weight. Suffice to say this is an excellent car that has brought us a lot of success however it is now time for someone else to enjoy it out on the track.
