Up for sale is my awesome track day turbo car. 75k kms, Manual with 5 months of rego.

A time I never thought would come has come. The Racefix #project86 is up for sale! I’ll keep it pretty short, there’s a website, facebook page and instagram account basically devoted to this car and of course i’m happy to answer any questions! As some of you already know I’ve poured alot into this car in the past 2 years and it’s definitely something I considered as a forever car. As such I haven’t documented the service history but it’s had engine oil and filter every 2 trackdays (~1000km) and diff and gearbox oil every 3-4 trackdays. Whilst it seems excessive, fluids and proper maintenance is far cheaper than replacing engines, diffs and gearboxes.

If you’re after a stupidly reliable, turn key, turbo 86 trackday car then this is the one. If you’re after a tidy road car to only street drive and take to car meets, this probably isn’t the one.
The car makes 265kw on E85 and is flex tuned on the standard engine, gearbox, diff and axles. I’ve never had a gearbox issue with the turbo and i’ve never popped and axle turbo (although I did do one NA). I’ve put 1000 track kilometres on the turbo kit in the past 5 months without a single hiccup thanks to the team at SME and PVS.

The pro’s:
It’s stupid reliable and capable of some very quick laptimes
No expense spared on components
Flex fuel
Great value
The cons:
It’s a track going car so the body isn’t perfect (hasn’t been in any accidents, it’s mostly bumps and bruises from being used)
Being a factory aero car, it has factory holes on the sills. Currently covered by the wrap but a set of side skirts will also cover them
