For sale is my Clubman which was built in 2019 from the base of a 2006 Mazda MX5 that had about 125,000kms on it.
The entire driveline and suspension was taken from the donor vehicle and a custom chassis was built around it.

UPDATE: Just had a new alloy fuel tank made for the car.

I've had it since early 2021 and it has been a very enjoyable car, but I am not getting much use out of it and would like something I can drive on the road and on the track.

Trailer will be included in the sale, and was built specifically for this vehicle.

2.0L MZR engine:
-Kelford T1 Cams
-New Mazda oil pump
-New Mazda head gasket
-ACL race big-end bearings
-Clevite mains bearings
-Custom exhaust

Has Versatune flash tune to suit engine mods.

Honda alloy ebay radiator with custom shrouding.

5 sp manual gearbox
4.1 : 1 ratio LSD (3.6 : 1 spare LSD)
Exedy heavy duty clutch, barely used.

2 sets of 16" Enkei wheels
-1 set with fresh Nankang AR-1
-1 set with used Toyo R888R

Factory Bilstein shocks with Lovells lowered springs F + R.

Has working ABS braking system.
Almost all of the brake lines throughout the vehicle are braided flex lines.
Fuel lines are also entirely braided flex lines.
All non-factory electrical connectors are quality Deutsch plugs.

Comes with front nose cone fibreglass mould.

Comes with MA/CAMS and AASA log books.

In the interest of transparency, there was in incident this year where the engine had run low on oil pressure, which did damage to conrod #1 and the big end bearing.
The engine has been repaired, which included; crankshaft mains and big-end journals reground, and the block flushed out, also a used weight matched conrod/piston set. This is the reason it has new mains/big-end bearings, new Mazda oil pump and new Mazda head gasket. Also a few things like new crank bolt, new oil pump chain tensioner.

Those who are interested are encouraged to come and inspect first.
There are some things about the vehicle that are best left to personal inspection.
These are things like paintwork, chassis welds and general body appearance.

Cons:
-The donor car had a rear end incident and while the rear subframe is structurally straight, there is a dent in the back of it and it has broken off the rear sway bar mount.
-The chassis welds, while structurally sound are not visually pleasing.
-The bonnet has cracks around the reverse scoop.

Car is located in Wangi Wangi, NSW.
