The Hyper X1 Racer holds the ‘One Raceway’ lap record, of 54.945 seconds, also ‘Winton Raceway’ in1:16.7 seconds. The car delivers astonishing performance (0 - 100km/ph 3.1 secs), 2.8 g’s lateral force, with minimal running costs. Designed to be operated by one person only (wash and race).
Engine: Suzuki GSX 1300R Hayabusa 1340 cc, 197 hp, with a power-to-weight ratio of 500 hp/tonne.

Chassis: chrome moly space frame, with carbon fibre impact resistant safety panels, weight 397 kg...’the chrome moly chassis features curved main rails for added lateral impact strength and a unique cross brace in the middle of the chassis for immense crush resistance and torsional strength. And in the same way that crash helmet design protects the head, the Hyper Racers seat cell is lined with a ridged compressible foam seat insert’.
