Ex-3AW Radio Contest E-Type Jaguar

This car was bought by my uncle in the mid 1980's. It is the 4.2 6 cylinder automatic 2 seater.

Prior to him owning, he was told it had been restored and a prize by Radio Station 3AW in Melbourne. They gave it the rego of AW4200 to reflect their station and the capacity of the motor. We have no paperwork to confirm this, but it is a great story.

He used in on weekends for about 10 years. Car has not moved in a few decades. It's been kept dry and in a concrete floored shed in country Victoria.

It's unregistered and currently unroadworthy. The milage only goes to 99999, so it has been most likely clocked over.

We know it requires some work to kill off the surface rust and repaint some of the panels. This is probably the reflection that the restoration for the radio station, wasn't the same as what an enthusiast would do.

This car needs to be inspected, and we believe the price accurately reflects the value of this car in this condition.
