Due to downsizing I am listing My Capri
Fully engineered in NSW and on historic rego, (not transferable)
Originally a matching numbers V6 auto (I have original unmolested matching number engine (running), box, diff, etc in the back of the workshop)
It is now running a John McCallum built V6 (230 hp @ flywheel) with triple 40 DCNF's and a (newly rebuilt in 2020) WC T5 (from a Sierra) with hydraulic clutch to an open centre EL Falcon diff, so discs all round, Hoppers on front, 15" genuine Performance wheels
Lucky if its done 2000 km since completion of build in 2020/21 and never (bar one concours day) driven in the wet
It did one GEAR day at Wakefield in 2021 and was total fun
Probably easier to list what I don't have from the original car. That is, front seats, centre console, radio and Rostyle wheels
It comes with heaps of spare parts, original stainless trims, glass, front guards, OEM driving lights, etc
And the colour is now (acrylic) midnight blue, though I think it looks more maroon.
I have heaps of photos of the bare metal resto through to completion
Everything was new from Burtons, or rebuilt, from the instrument cluster to the GAZ suspension etc
The car could be put back to original, though the tunnel was cut out and enlarged for the T5. The heater box is not installed. I have the cuts
I will ONLY sell it as a complete bundle
The car is not a show car, as I build them to drive and enjoy. It has no carpet, with the enlarged tunnel it wasn't practical
