I have owned this car since 2007, within 12 months rust repairs and a full respray in the original colors was completed. The engine, gearbox, diff and brakes where all reconditioned at the same time; around the 51,000 mile mark. Since then the car has done many trips around the south island.

Engine is a 186cui with numbers matching (please note on Carjam it says the engine # is 186A not 186K but the rest of the engine number is correct. I suspect this was a typo at the time of registration, as it is also registered as a 1966 Holden premier "XZ") I can supply the full Carjam report on request.

Engine has just been rebuilt with new rings, bearings, lifters, roller rockers and larger valves.
-Pistons +.030" (Pistons reused from re-build at 51,000 miles, but has new rings )
-Mains/BE -.010"
-Mild cam grind (I have the sheet)
-Alloy timing gear
-10.3/compression
-STA roller rockers (350 chev)
-Carbs have adjustable main jets and a weber style balance linkage
-Electronic ignition
-New exhaust 2 1/4" -2 1/2" with O2 bungs for tuning

It is a well optioned car with:
-Power disc brake front end
-LSD
-Spotlights
-Wire light covers
-Day/night reverse mirror
-original Blackwells leather key pouch

Modifications:
-Brakes are fully reconditioned with stainless sleeves in the master cylinder, the slave cylinders and the booster
-Nolathane swaybar and rear spring bushes
-Front spindles have been hard chromed and reground with new bearings
-Diff bearings replaced
-Auto reconditioned
-New driveshaft UJ's and balance
-Lowered around 30mm with new front springs and has had the rear springs reset
-H4 semi sealed headlights with built in park lights
-Orange bulbs in front indicators (no longer wired for both indicators and park lights)
-Steering box brace
-Electric fuel pump

Paint is a little rough and wheel arch trims need to be repaired
