This is a most regretful sale (due to health issues) of one of the prettiest, quickest, safest and most sorted Group M and O Cars in Australia.
This car was a sister car to the famous Mildren Waggott which Bobby Britton (of Rennmax Fame), constructed after Mildren aquired the Denny Hulme Formula 2 Brabham BT23 in 1968. Bob added his own minor modificationss to make these cars even better.
Powered by a 1600 Lotus Twin Cam generating 182hp at the rear wheels, which is 225hp at flywheel (approximate).
This has had a no expense spared, total restoration (costing near to $200,000 with all receipts), using all the very best components by one of the most renowned builder/automotive engineer of these cars in Australia, David Kent. Comes with new gear ratios ,2 spare nose cones and auxiliary battery and spare set of wheels all with good rubber.
I have put the car on Poll in the 2020 Tasman Series in Eastern Creek without it having correct gear ratios and set-up, all of which have been completely sorted now. Conservative time now with me at 105Kg for Eastern Creek, 1m 37s. The car and I were invited to run at this years Australian GP which was a Bucket List event.
This car would be eligible to run at all major historic events world wide, making it a fabulous Formula B car in the United States.
The car also comes with a as new, fully enclosed, purpose built trailer, which can be separated if necessary. Price is negotiable.
