Historic Rally Car
1981 Datsun Stanza V8 Rally Car built by Bob Riley, ex Colin Bond Team Manager/Engineer and ex Ralliart Manager/Engineer as a Group 'G' rally car for Tony Masling, then purchased and driven by Geoffrey Keys. The car is two thirds through an extensive rebuild.
Engine - Leyland P76 bored to 4.6L with 9.3 compression ratio, balanced fully rebuilt including replacement crack tested crankshaft, lightened flywheel, all machining carried out by Chilton Engineering Queensland
NPC 9" high clamp clutch
Gearbox - P76 4 speed complete rebuild
Differential - Borg Warner with brand new CW&P 3.9 ratio brand new 2 way LSD center new bearings/seals
Front suspension - Works Nissan/Datsun factory struts carrying new Bilstein's valved to the work's factory settings
Rear suspension - new Bilstein's valved to the work's factory settings
Brakes AP - as fitted to works Ford Escort Rally Cars, rebuilt using new pistons and seals
New Dave Feron electric power steering beautifully grafted into the Datsun Stanza steering column utilizing a late model Toyota steering box
2 sets of new Bathurst Globe wheels
4 new tyres fitted
Underside of the body has been media blasted
