1960 Lotus 18 Formula Junior Frame 987193. body plate 18/J/789 (attached to car). Sold in batch of six too Raper Rodriguez. raced by A Álvarez in 1961 in support race to the 1961 Grand Prix. Copy of race program available. History thereafter hazy but Bill Jowarski , Don Hamilton and Burt Kurtis (1980) seems to have owned/raced in USA. Ivan Tighe built this unique race car to compete in the Australian Hill Climb Championship. It was powered by an air-cooled two cylinder Vincent engine. In 1964, Tighe beat his nemesis, Bruce Walton, to capture the Austrailian Hill Climb Championship.
