I’ve owned this vehicle for over 20 years and selfishly not done anything with it , time for a full restoration and return to the track after a 50 year absence . Was built in 1966 as Chimaera Mk 3 with BMC B series engine and cigar shaped body and raced by Frank Brewster. Category. Historic group R sports. Raced by Toleman as a European F2 car driven by Brian Henton in 1979, finishing runners up in championship. The car was then sold to a race team Genoa racing in America. It was converted to a single seater Can-Am sports car. Competing in the1983 World Sports Racing Prototypes.
