1968 MK2 Lotus Twin Cam Group NC race car. After starting life as a WA police car, it was built by Greg Barr as a group n race car in 1999, raced for 5 years in WA before being sold to Vic where the vehicle stayed in storage until being resold in 2014, raced again for 2 years from SA before I purchased the car. It has since gone through a cosmetic change to be a replica of the Alan mann car that won the 68 British car touring championship by Frank Gardner. The car has a zero hour fresh twin cam with genuine L block as per period of the car, whilst not genuine the car replicates a full lotus car.
Fitted with brand new quaff close ratio gearbox, quaff floating axles, quaiffe LSD and watts linkage setup.
A very well presented race car that has history, a full Group NC log book and is 100% built to full regulations.

The motor runs twin 45mm webers, brand new hi torque starter, custom extractors.
The car has a quick release water pump timing cover fitted.
The car sits on 13 x7 rebel wheels with brand new race tyres and a second set of rebel rims can be negotiated with sale.
