Perkins- Elfin 600ff/f2

1970 Australian Championship Elfin formula ford-driven by Larry Perkins to win the 1971 Driver to Europe series, effectively launching his international motorsport career. This is one of the most recognizable race cars in Australia. Following Larry's 1971 title win it served several front running seasons as a formula ford before being converted to Formula 2 specification in 1975. The original F2 COD papers are included in the sale providing the option to run in either class. Now, following a complete ground-up restoration in 2015, it is back in its original formula ford specification & livery with current FA Certification and is a very competitive race car, presently leading the NSW Historic championship. This is a rare opportunity to acquire perhaps the most historic formula ford in Australia as a collection piece or to campaign in the upcoming formula ford 50th Anniversary year series, in Australia or Europe (to which it also qualifies)
