Chevrolet 540 short motor

This is an almost complete short motor that we had planned to build but ended up buying a complete engine hence the sale. DART Big M top of the range block with steel caps. Has been torque plate honed to suit ROSS pistions, decked, de-burred and o-ringed.

ROSS Pistons are big $$ pistions with tool steel pins to handle nitrous oxide 9 pistons total.

SCAT H-Beam rods with 2000 ARP bolts.

EAGLE steel crank which has been polished

ATI performance balancer

Everything was purchased brand new! With no expense spared.

540 cubic inch 4.5 bore, 4.25 stroke.

Was planning on being in a street car on pump fuel, 11:1 compression.

Block was o-ringed to handle nitrous oxide and give ultimate seal.

The combination has had pre-assembly but has not been balanced,

Looking to sell as a package as the block and pistions are to suit.

It will come with a milidon sump and parts
This combination cost over $9500 plus machining costs but am open to offers.
