General:
Full chrome moly tube chassis by Chris Alston in California. Glass front, steel doors and rear. New Tailgate, body stripped and repainted in custom pearl blue. Custom wing, wheelie bars, parachute. 20l alloy fuel cell, new rear mounted battery. Linelock and quick release steering wheel, 5 point harness, alloy ice box. Completely rewired throughout. Certified by both NZDRA and IHRA. All fabrication done by Raceworks in 2021.
Engine:
427 LS7 built by Steve Morris in USA in 2021, approx 1000BHP on pump gas, 1400BHP@25psi on C16. Alloy Dart “next” block, LS3 alloy heads, Steve Morris 4340 crank, rods, diamond pistons, roller cam , lifters and pushrods, Crower rockers, FIC injectors, Aeromotive fuel pump and regulator. Intercooled Whipple 4.5l rear entry screw blower, SFI burst panel and blower restraints. Holley Dominator EFI with Holley smart coils. Multiple tune options, Holley digital dash and mechanical gauges, rev counter etc. Custom headers 2 1⁄4 primaries, 4” collectors with bolt on “bulls horns”. Radiator, engine oil cooler, Meziere electric water pump, nappy.
Transmission:
BTE transbraked sportsman glide rated at 1800BHP supplied by Wayne Illich. BTE bolt together convertor, SFI bellhousing, SFI blanket, external cooler and fan. TCI shifter with electric solenoid for shifting, this is controlled by an external electronic switch that can be set to any revs.
Diff and drivetrain:
Narrowed Ford 9”, heavily braced, 40 spline Strange axles, Strange Ultracase alloy centre with Richmond 3.9:1 pro gears. Mark Williams alloy driveshaft, Strange disc brakes all round, adjustable coil over shocks on rear, Strange coil over struts on front. 32” x 16.5” x 15” slicks, Weld 15” x 15” rims. 27” x 4.5” Hoosier front runners on Weld rims.

Engine and drivetrain have approx 20 1⁄4 mile passes from NEW. Best ET: 8.2@155mph. 8/4/24: New stator fitted and ran 164mph at 2024 Nostalgia drags, just needs track time to realize potential
