My Ownership
I have owned this car for about 15 years. When I originally bought the car, it was unlicensed, not running, rusty and full of rubbish. It got cleaned up and tucked away into storage for a number of years whilst I built and played with other cars. I slowly accumulated components to start restoring it and eventually got started with the rebuild. Bodywork and Painting as well as some of the Interior work has been done by local shops over the years but aside from that Mechanically the work has been done by myself. I have many receipts and photographs of various different parts of the rebuild. There really isn't much that hasn't been replaced or rebuilt. The car is not a matching numbers car or even originally a 2L to my knowledge, but simply an expression of what an Old School Ford can be. A real head turner.
In Summary
It's tame enough for driving at low speeds around town but really does flourish when given the chance to stretch its legs. The tyres have plenty of sidewall, the car is damped well so rides nicely on bumpy country roads and the Pinto on Weber's makes a glorious noise that echoes in the hills around the Southwest. Classic Motoring at its best. It certainly deserves to be loved and driven more than it is with me. Time for someone else to enjoy.
Price is negotiable.
