This car has been extensively developed and presents as a competitive race car and is maintained by engineer / fabricator, Chris Dowde with bodywork by Taylor Stokes. In 2016 the car was fitted with a new engine 2016 and Supercharger overhaul in 2020. The TC contains a MK1 Cortina diff and Quaife locker with 5 ratios available to suit circuits from Phillip Island to short track Winton and Wakefield Park. It has a Needham close ratio gearbox, Datsun 240Z brake drums, Twin 2-inch SU carburettors feeding a 100 Marshall Supercharger, strong bottom end with Billet crankshaft, Argo rods ARP rod bolts and forged pistons with custom camshaft to suit forced induction.
This TC has a very extensive racing history, competing at many venues including Phillip Is., Winton, Amaroo Park, Geelong, Sandown, Mallala, Collingrove, Wakefield Park, Rob Roy and Calder.
