1970 Comet Formula 2

Comet Formula 2/3 car built in Melbourne approximately in the early 70's.
Engine is a dry sump push rod Ford 1600/1300 with twin weber manifold.
A 5 speed VW based transaxle.
Fabricated aluminum uprights.
Magnesium Jack Knight steering rack.
Armstrong adjustable shock absorbers.
Fibreglass side panels are present but no other body work as per the attached images.
Has run in period with MK8 Cheetah body work and previously with full width nose as per attached images.
Magnesium Costa wheels.
Eligible for Motor Sport Australia historic logbook.
Wesley Inkster competed in the car at Morwell Hillclimb claiming a class record in the mid 70's.
