A totally untouched original example that has been dry stored with ONLY 2 owners from new in her original factory white code 1888 with her black/silver SS stripes along the body. The interior cabin is like being in the 70's again with her totally period correct and untouched cabin with black and twill inserts seats with original door cards and speakers still untouched. This absolute time warp of Australian motoring history was sold new on the 21/12/1976 by Preston Motors Holden with vic rego IRF-673 which is on the delivery paperwork and STILL with the car today. Sold to a Mr Ronald Williams of Caulfield who the family owned the car till the 90's as to when it was sold to the last owner. This pristine LX Torana SS Hatchback was ordered from new as she sits now with her matching numbers 5.0L V8 engine which has never been taken out of the car and still has its original markings from new. Ordered also with an 3speed automatic transmission and the desired option of the time "air-conditioning" which the original compressor is still in the car and functions well. The original tape deck still in the dash and all the original switch gear is perfect working order and even the original carpets are still in the car with the very rare to see fold away rear hatch carpet still in perfect order. One of the iconic options was the Torana "Hatch-Hutch" which was the "pop=up" tent that owners bought at time which was used in their advertising showing the Torana out in the bust with the "tent" up, this is still brand new in the box never ever used or taken out!!! The factory 13" steel wheel with factory SS hubcaps in perfect order with period correct Bridgestone Steel Radials 195/70/13 all round as from new and her added factory option of the front headlights protector mesh in perfect order also. The body is immaculate with her lines all straight and clean NO rust what so ever and the original door cards and cabin is a tribute to how well she has been preserved by her 2 only owners.
