Looking to regretfully sell my much loved 944. I bought this in 2019 with the intention of keeping it forever, but I need the funds to buy a house in the near future. As a whole the car is a very clean and tidy example and definitely a head turner. For the right price I can have the paint professionally polished. I also have the original dash, MAF sensor and airbox, a whole spare engine (has a seized cam) spare power steering pump and a bunch of bits and pieces that belong with the car. I can also assist with delivery of the car to anywhere in Queensland. Price of delivery will depend on sale price and what’s included, etc.
So basically what I have done is taken the old electrical system out and installed a modern system with many standardised and easily available parts which makes maintenance and fault finding MUCH easier and very cheap. I have also installed a digital modern looking dash with a custom made fascia. All this work makes a lot of things easier and opens up lots of possibilities for engine performance modifications ie. turbo, cam, pistons, even a whole different engine. All these things become a relatively simple task because you have the ability to tune the car accurately and easily due to the Link ECU’s flexibility and all the breakaway outputs in the wiring loom for more functions/sensors. There’s a massive amount of work that has gone into this car and all the work has been professionally done to a very high standard. There is so much to list with what was done. I am negotiable on price within reason, and as mentioned things like the engine, RWC, paint polishing, aircon regas, etc. can be excluded from the sale.
