Selling my much loved Sileighty that I’ve had since 2016. Although I’ve done some drag runs and one wet skid-pan day, the truth is I’ve spent far more time upgrading the car and getting it just how I want it than driving it. Regretfully selling due to lack of use.
This car has been built to be a very capable track car that is still street registered and can be driven reliably to and from the track. It makes a safe and lag free 208 rwkw on high boost and features many reliability mods such as an oil cooler and winged sump. Custom electronic display to let you know exactly what the engine is doing. Best quarter mile of 12.6 @ 114mph. Lovingly cared for, oil changed after every track event. Just spent a few grand getting the car ready for sale: new tyres, wheel alignment, new battery, mechanic oil change and checkover, power steering rack rebuilt to fix leak, professional polish.
The good:
Overall great condition for the age. Long rego. Tastefully modified. Fast and capable yet very easy to potter around on the street. Quiet too with electronic Varex muffler closed. Mechanically sound. Lots of spares. I had a closed door respray a few years back, the paint is not perfect but overall quite good.
The bad:
Interior has been stripped to add lightness. I have some of the parts but if you wanted to restore you would need to source carpet and plastics. No sound system. No air con. Usual cracked dash above instruments.
You could put drift tyres or semi slicks on the 2nd set of wheels and do reliable track work, or unbolt the half cage, restore the interior and have a clean street car depending on which way you wanted to go.
Priced to sell. Open to reasonable offers but no lowballers. Very strict guidelines around test drive.
