96 180SX Type X.

I built the car to be a reliable street and track car. The next step was to cage and drive. As the story goes, I have sadly lost interest in the sport.

I have owned the car for almost 10 years. Most of the driving was done before the rebuild and was a mix of weekend drives and supersprints. All works were completed by a trusted mechanic. The build helped me keep my sanity through cancer treatment.
The car has travelled well under 2,000km since the rebuild.

Overall, the car presents well for age and KM. The car has only been run on 98 as I had no interest in chasing numbers, as you can see by the build list, it has plenty of potential to make more power.

2.2L stroker Tomei crank with Nitto Forged I-beam rods, and forged pistons.
Head serviced by WARSPEED.

Alpha Omega complete conversion with aluminium one-piece tail shaft etc - speedo works fine.
Cusco RS diff, configured as 1.5 way - easy change to 2way

Exedy heavy duty clutch

Body
Headlights converted to LEDs - popups removed.
Rear taillights reverted back to stock 180SX, genuine Type X lights are boxed and will be supplied at time of sale.
Rex Kelway tubs in the engine bay, repaired.
KMAK aero +25mm front guards - wrapped, spare wrap will be supplied.
Un-cracked dash
All interior panels from rear seats forward are included.
Front bash bar installed in place of standard item

Registration
The car was deregistered October 2022 and trailered to SMSP for a handful of supersprints.
It has clean tags (no defects) can and can be re-registered should that be of interest.
Number plates can be negotiated at additional cost.

Cons
Front bar needs some attention. All mounts are A-ok, purely cosmetic.
Missing rear interior.
