Now available for sale is this super rare 1996 Subaru Impreza WRX STI 555 Colin McRae Special. It is believed that as little as 500 – 750 were produced and this example is one of only two in Australia making this car extremely rare and collectable. All being finished in the iconic Monte Carlo Blue Rally Blue, the 555 edition WRX was made to commemorate Colin McRae winning the 1995 World Rally Championship and based off the Version 2 STI. The 555 editions also have a host of other factory modifications on top of the STI model such as a full operational roof vent, larger IHI turbo, alloy bonnet and roof, vented disc brakes, Nardi steering wheel, STI seats and a rear wiper. Fully imported into Australia approximately fifteen years ago and has been well looked after ever since. The odometer showing just over 68,000 kilometres. The WRX comes with full New South Wales registration as well as all import paperwork. Also included is the original logbook.
