2000 Nissan Pulsar SSS (P11 PRIMERA VVL SWAPPED!!)
Decided to sell my Pulsar after much deliberation due to changing life circumstances.
A ton of hours and money have been spent getting this car to where it is today, having bought the car completely stock in 2018, with all modifications completed under my ownership using top quality parts. It has been setup to maintain most of the comforts of a daily driver while being ready to take on any track day competitively, having recently had a very successful run around Mallala.
Everyone that hops in this car comes out with a huge grin. Handles like a go-kart and has a great powerband (Comparable to a Honda B18) while still being a reliable and practical daily- I even drove it across the country in 2022 flawlessly.
Fairly economical too, gets around 7-8L/100km on the highway (has done many long distance trips) and 9L/100km driving around town. As one of 2 VVL swapped N15s in SA, gets a ton of questions and looks at meets!
ENGINE:
- P11 Primera SR20VE NEOVVL motor (Imported from NZ) w/custom intake. Upon install replaced front/ rear main seal, water pump, several other seals/ gaskets). IACV and spark plugs have also just been replaced. Always run on BP/ Shell 98 and oil changed every 5,000km or less. Engine no. paperwork has been all sorted.
- Genuine SR16VE N1 cams (new when installed)
- Fujitsubo P11 headers into custom 2.5 inch stainless system
- Link G4+ Monsoon dyno tuned by Garage7 (129kw @ 7200rpm)
- PWR alloy rad
- NPC heavy duty clutch, clutch arm reinforced to suit
- Prothane engine mounts
- Billet shift mount
- Denso fuel pump w/ new Gates fuel lines (Only needs a a few lines replaced to run e85)
- WickhamDesign custom spark plug cover kit (installed in 2nd to last pic)
- CVs recently replaced
- Viper alarm/ remote locking system
HANDLING:
- Custom Big Brake Kit (A32 Maxima rotors & calipers, N16 hubs & knuckles). DBA slotted rotors & Winmax/ Project Mu pads. Stops stupid quick!
- Braided lines, Project Mu racing fluid
- Superpro front susp. bushes w/ added caster
- BC Racing BR Gold coilovers (Rear underseat brackets modified for rear damping adjustment)
- Enkei RPF1 wheels with Advan AD08R semi-slicks
- Whiteline rear swaybar
- Cusco rear body brace with quick release
- Wheel bearings recently replaced with NTN japanese parts.
INTERIOR:
- Rare JDM option Momo airbag wheel (Just professionally retrimmed)

- Paint is in excellent condition with no fading at all, a few small chips on the lower door and minor mark on the roof but that's it.
I do expect it'll take some time to move her on in this market. Will include tub of spare nuts and bolts and receipts/ manuals for all work/ parts. Also happy to include stock suspension for the right price.
I'm asking 16.5k (but will consider reasonable offers after a test drive), significantly less than has been spent on it- or $15.5k on stock wheels only. This car has been maintained meticulously and all the hard work has been done, she's all ready to go and needs no work done.
Will come with rego until end of March, and can include plates if you are wanting to keep it in SA.
NOTE: LARGER CRAZY HORNET WING NOT INCLUDED- it is currently having a mould pulled off it for reproduction purposes.
