E46 M3 track car. Used for hill climb, super sprint, time attack (only ever single timed laps rather than multiple laps run at speed). As such it has probably done less time at competitive speed than other race cars do in one meeting (I can provide further details of this on request). The arrival of a family, a house with a big garden to maintain and some family health issues mean I just don’t have the time to commit to it anymore.

Car has never been crashed and is still road registrable (obviously it would need restoring back to road spec and it would also need to be ticked off the Takata airbags recall, BMW would do that part for free). Most recently the car was prepped/aligned for SA Time Attack in Feb 24 and an issue with the tow car meant I couldn’t go, as such car is fully prepped ready to drive. Car was checked on the dyno in preparation for the event (can supply video and dated log). TTFS engine/SMG tune (is probably due a re-tune). SMG works really well on track especially given the cars weight.

AP Racing brake kit (front/rear) and Ds Uno pads, Apex ARC-8 wheels with Yokahama AO50 tyres (265 front and 295 rear with 2 spare rears), MCA Red suspension with 2 sets of springs (softer/stiffer), H&R adjustable anti roll bars (stock also supplied), Driftwerks rear camber arms, purple tag steering rack.

ARP Rod bearings, Vanos done less than 200km ago. Brand new rebuilt 3.91 diff by Brintech (with racing diffs clutch pack). Brand new radiator and fan, Eventuri intake and Macht Schnell elbow, PSDesigns headlight duct, Rogue Engineering pulleys, Cartek electrical cut off, Bosch rear swirl tank eliminating fuel starvation under hard cornering, Status Gruppe section 1 and section 2 exhaust with custom bolt on straight pipe or rear silencer (loud or quieter in 5 minutes). Car is on 117km.

Tegiwa splitter mounts x 2, Trackspec bonnet vents, Geoff Steele Racing chassis mount rear wing, P4P polycarbonate windows (retains original windscreen), MK Motorsport vented front wings (2 x spare original vented front wings). As per photo’s the bottom of the bumper is cut to allow trailer loading, splitter detaches (Tegiwa template cut from marine plywood). Splitter is only loosely bolted on for pics but is adjustable height/angle. Carbon sunroof delete panel.

Car weighs approx. 1250kg with 1/3 tank of fuel. The goal was to get close to 1200kg with carbon doors, roof and a new battery (I’ll leave that to the new owner)! The car is very quick through the corners, is easy to drive and offers a very raw, connected driving experience.
