2003 996 GT3 CUP

An appreciating classic and the last of the manual H pattern transmission Cup Cars built by Porsche Motorsport. Race ready, original Spec 2003 3.6 lit 996 GT3 Cup with only 9,012 race km travelled. You won't find another one in the country with so few race kms on the chassis.

Completely original chassis and engine, Recaro race seat and steering wheel, air lance and hose with 3 sets of wheels and tyres (Pirelli: 2 x slicks and 1 x Wet).

Initially delivered to Japan for Carrera Cup but never raced (sponsor track days only). Imported to Australia by Bradley Host in Oct 2009. The car has since mainly run in club sprints, first in NSW and from 2016 in various Porsche Club Victoria sprint days and two Challenge Bathurst's. It's a fast car having laid down times of 1min 40.5 at PI, 1min 15.9 at Sandown, 1min 25.8 at Winton and low 2min 20's at Bathurst.

The car was originally maintained by Fitzgerald racing in Box Hill and then by Cup Car Engineering from late 2017. A $14,000 gearbox rebuild was completed by Michael Newton Automotive and Corsa Motors at around 6200km (receipts available). Since then the car has completed about 22 hours of sprint event running or around 2800km. Receipts available for all maintenance work.
