2004 Locost Clubman

Built by an Engineer in Hobart between 1997 and 2002, first registered on Full registration in 2002.
Engine is Nissan FJ20 Twin Cam, with Wade cams similar to C20X/L, fast road cams. Also fitted with 2 Weber DCO-SP 48's and custom extractors. Ignition is by modified distributor removing vacuum advance, mechanical advance only, fitted with Luminition and adjustable Rev limiter, currently set at a safe 7200rpm.
Gearbox is 5 speed from Skyline as engine, rear diff is also from the Skyline and has LSD. Has also been fitted with ADR approved 4 point harness in place of the home modified belts it had.
The car was built to survive Tassie's roads and weighs only 740kg wet, it has fabulous power to weight.
Car is fitted with 5 almost new Yokohama Advan A052 tyres on Spitfire mags of 13 x 6.5 width.
A new tonneau cover and sides recently fitted. Also has a full custom garage cover.
Car is fully registered in Tasmania and has Mod Plate. Has only travelled 9300km since built and only on the road, not tracked.
I have a large lever arch folder full of build CAD drawings, plans, correspondence between builder and Transport Tasmania as well as a comprehensive list of where components came from, ie donor vehicle make, model, year etc and numerous other information.
Also included are the Fibreglass moulds for right and left front and rear guards, seats, front nose cone and scuttle panel. Vital if anything is ever damaged in an accident, it could mean the difference between repairs or written off. Happy to answer any questions.
