The car that gave Lee Holdsworth his first Bathurst 1000 start is now for sale.

The car was originally built by PMM (Paul Morris Motorsport) in 2002 and named BAM BAM. It debuted as the VX Sirromet Wines Commodore, raced by Paul Morris and was later updated to Project Blueprint specifications as a VY and raced by the Smiths Trucks team.

It’s also the same car that Nathan Pretty drove in the 2005 Super2 series under Mack Trucks sponsorship.

Body was painted and restored back to its original 2004 Smiths Trucks Bathurst livery in 2021. Livery work completed by Peter Pan, who originally completed the build back in 2004.

Has been upgraded from the H Pattern gearbox to a sequential gearbox.

Comes with all original logbooks.

Available by negation is a huge list of spares. Some being: Air spikes and gauges, rattle gun, splitter, complete radio intercom, brand new clutch, disassembled engine and throttles, engine mounts and stands, gearbox brackets, coolers, new starter motors, alternators, engine loom, pullies, radiators, brakes pads and rotors, suspension, sway bars, watts linkage parts, steering rack and components, wheel hubs and nuts, 2 sets of original 17’s wheels and 2 sets of Car of the future 18’s, torque wrench, original heated HRT front windscreens, air filters, fuel tanks, bladders, panels, 3 complete assembled diff's with ratios to suit Phillip Island, Winton and Bathurst. Additional to this are many diff gears and spare parts.
