Mazda Mx5 Nc 2500cc HKS Supercharged - Power 300+ WHP

After many years of developing and racing this car, I’m selling my quick little MX5. This car will suite someone wishing to drive to a circuit and still be up the sharp end on track days. The power to weight ratio, brakes and handling of this car embarrasses exotic machinery costing 10 times the price. This car has done a sub 60s Lap time at Lakeside in Queensland with me driving it and I’m sure with a lighter more capable driver is capable of 58’s.

The Modifications to this Car have Been Mod Plated. The Car is Road Registered and will be supplied with a RWC.
The base car is a 2005 NC Special Edition with the following modifications:

Engine - 2.5L Mazda L5 engine Built by Gary Stewart. 9.1 :1 CR, CP Pistons, Corillo Rods, Clevite Bearings, 3 angle valve seating, Cosworth Valve Springs, Tomei PON Cams, Cosworth Timing Chain Tensioner, Keyed Crank, Balanced, Balance Shaft deleted. Stepped and tuned header by SBD Motorsport (UK), Water outlet by SBD, Moto East Intake manifold (Ported), HKS GT7040 Centrifugal Supercharger, PWR Intercooler, High Energy Coil-On-Plug. Matched 750 Fuel Injectors, Davis Craig water pump, remote Oil Filter, Water/Oil cooler by PWR, Catch Can, 70 Duro Racing Engine Mounts.
Transmission - 5 puck clutch with increased clamp by Direct Clutch Brisbane, Lightened Steel Flywheel, NC Series 2 6 speed gearbox.

Diff – 3.8:1 with Kaaz 2-way LSD. Hybrid Drive Shafts MX5 to RX8

Wheels and Brakes – MAZDA RX8 Breaks and hubs all round, Project Mu Pads. ENKEI RPF1 17X9 rims with Bridgestone RE-71 RS 235/40 17 (Street Legal Semi Slicks)

Suspension - OHLIN Shocks with Ride Hight and Rebound Adjustment. RX8 Roll Bars, Poly Bushes

Exhaust: - High Flow CAT, 3” bespoke stainless system.

Aero – Front Splitter with shrouded cooling air routing, APR GTC 300 Carbon rear Wing with Gurney Flap and Singular End Plates.

Other Mods – Battery Relocation to boot, Kill Switch, Battery Isolator Pull, On Board Data Logging and multi-function cockpit display. ECUTEK Interface for data logging and mapping standard ECU plus single vehicle ECUTEK Licence. Craft Square F1 Racing Mirrors, Soft Top Removed,

Extras – Second Set of ENKIE RPF1s, AC Components removed from the car. Bolt In Full Cage made by Mazda for mx5 racing in Japan (Rollover Hoop already installed in the car). Racing Seat and 6 point harness.
