This BMW race car was built to a very high standard by Karl Begg in 2016, and then subsequently maintained and improved by Garth Walden and his gun team at GWR Australia continuously since my purchase from KB in 2017.
Car has had an easy run under my ownership, competing only in the NSW PTC state championship from 2018 through to 2023 - with reduced appearances in the Covid affected years.
Won B2 Class and second in the club championship in NSW PTC 2023.
Very quick car in the right hands. Selling only because have upgraded to X Class BMW for 2024.
Maintained to an extremely high standard under GWR, with essentially an open cheque book. Engine and gearbox rebuild - for preventative maintenance only - carried out at end of season 2019.
Cosmetic front end paint refresh, new headlight lenses and windscreen at end of season 2022. No hits - a few wheel rubs only.
