Unique Mazda RX8 Race Car built from the ground up by West Australian renowned race car specialist - LF Performance Products, Perth.

Having 40+ years experience with building rotary engines and manufacturing high-quality race car parts, Kim Ledger and the team at LF Performance Products (LFP) spent 5 years constructing the outstanding RX8, costing over $300k in parts and labour to date.

Drives like a dream and extremely fast. Still almost new, the vehicle ran two sprint outings for perfect testing but has not yet raced.

• Stripped shell, modified and caged front to back to accept new engine location, 6-S Holinger Sequential Gearbox and 10” Winters Quick
• Custom made drive shafts by PPG, Adelaide with Porsche CV joints
• Change independent rear end. All alloy intercooler, radiator, 2 x Oil Coolers
• 13B twin rotor Series 6 engine built from all new components. Totally through bolted motor block, bridge ported with MAZDA seal components.
• Fitted with unique LFP designed and manufactured dry sump (gear drive front cover) assembly, with Barnes System housing sections and filter.
• Motor has twin small integrated wastegate roller bearing turbos (1 for each rotor housing).
• Reliable Hi-Torque Motor produces 550HP @ 5,700 rpm with 17 psi boost.
• Two 50 litre alloy foam filled fuel tanks built in. Run’s E85 with 1% Castor Oil for internal motor lubrication
• USA Hydraulic adjustable Sports car steering rack, German KW remote adjustable suspension, 4 x Airjacks (built in)
• Professionally wired front back, Link Computer and Motec PDM with Digital Dash
• AP 6 Pot front and 4 Pot rear brakes and big rotors, Girling Master Cyls, bias adjustable from cabin, stops on a dime.
• LFP functional Carbon adjustable Rear Wing, Carbon Fibre Doors, bonnet, boot lid. Thin front glass and all other windows Lexan (plastic)
• Velo Carbon Driver seat
• Weighs wet, 50 litres fuel just under 1200 kg
