Now offered complete with a RaceKing trailer

Offered for sale is this true one-off Individually Constructed Vehicle (ICV), completed in 2023 and built over an 18-month period.

This mid-engine, rear wheel drive, single seater represents a no-compromise approach to lightweight engineering, functional design and balanced performance. Constructed with durability and mechanical integrity as priorities, this car weighs just 500kg wet. This is the fourth race car that I have built to-date, and has been engineered to be strong, rigid, and confidence-inspiring at speed.

The car is powered by a naturally aspirated Audi 2.0-litre 20-valve engine, chosen for its proven reliability and strong high-rpm breathing characteristics. Induction is via quad throttle bodies, delivering sharp throttle response and excellent mid-to-top-end performance. Engine management is handled by a Haltech ECU whilst a remote oil cooler supports sustained track use and thermal stability. Transmission is an Audi 5-speed manual sourced from a front-drive A4, adapted to suit the mid-engine configuration. The package delivers clean shift action and ratios well suited to the car’s lightweight nature. And with 110kw at the rear wheels on 98 octane, it is a very capable track car indeed.

The chassis is a steel tube spaceframe, skinned with aluminium panels that are glued and riveted for additional stiffness. The result is a rigid platform that contributes to the car’s predictable and neutral handling characteristics. The body is a custom, one-off lightweight fibreglass design, created with functionality as the core objective. Aerodynamics and practicality were prioritised over styling however this is still a very striking ICV from all angles.

Front suspension utilises Rally Design uprights from the UK, paired with inboard-mounted Protech single-adjustable dampers front and rear. The rear suspension is custom-fabricated, incorporating Audi bearing packs and drive shafts to ensure durability and parts availability. Steering is via a Quaife steering rack, providing direct, communicative feedback appropriate for a lightweight single seater, whilst braking performance is handled by Wilwood calipers on all four corners, combined with a Wilwood pedal box for precise bias control and modulation. The car runs 13 x 7 Superlite wheels wrapped in 205/60R13 Yokohama AO48 tyres — a proven semi-slick well matched to the vehicle’s weight and geometry. And finally, a RaceBox data logger is fitted, allowing accurate lap timing and performance analysis. A range of spare parts is included in the sale, as well as body moulds for the fibreglass panels.

This is without question a highly engaging driver’s car. The mid-engine layout, low mass, and well-sorted suspension produce very neutral handling characteristics. Turn-in is sharp, balance is progressive, and the chassis communicates clearly at the limit. Designed to be functional above all else, this ICV delivers exactly what it was built for: responsive performance, mechanical simplicity, and genuine driver involvement.
