1986 HJ75 Landcruiser, Heavily modified, Fully Engineered and street legal Comp Truck
HSV Maloo LS2 engine. 20000kms since Full rebuild including new rings and pistons (ceramic and dry film coated), new cam/lifters/heavy duty valve springs.
Roll master Double Row timing vernier timing chain with mods to timing cover to suit. New high volume oil pump, CNC barbell oil diverter and relief valve.
New bearings throughout and full cylinder head overhaul. New high flow injectors and new oil pressure sensor.
Custom cylinder head steam pipe setup plumbed into pressure side of water pump for positive pressure water flow.
Holley 95mm throttle body with fully adjustable IAC and TPS functionality for custom tuning.
Custom TV cable setup for TH700
Custom Aluminium 5 core radiator with custom plumbing and heater converted to connect via LS2 hoses.
Custom 2 speed radiator fan setup, controlled via ECU
Haltech Elite 2500 ECU with custom program and genuine Haltech LS2 wiring harness and O2 sensor adapters.
Custom TH700R4 with Kevlar clutches and chrome moly shafts. Shift kitted and valves for the engine/tyre combo. Programable TCC setup with manual override feature. Synthetic Transmission oil used
Mark’s adapter coupled to Landcruiser transfer case with custom bushes and new bearings and seals. New genuine output shaft fitted.
Mark’s Ultra low transfer gears fitted
Engine and transmission have been raised 4” under car to increase ground clearance. And additional temp sensors in transmission for performance monitoring.
Remote mount transmission cooler with computer controlled fan. Custom metal piping and inline temp sensor.
Custom high tensile tail shafts front and rear. New uni joints.
Front and rear FJ80 diffs with large disc brakes all round. Hydraulic handbrake. Both diff centres have been eeen heat treated and run synthetic oils. Custom chrome moly axles front and rear.
Rear hubs have new bearings and axle studs have been modified to house 4 10mm dowels and upgraded 12.9 10mm cap screws.
Front axles connected to long field CV’s and AVM hubs for on road and light duty 4x4. Also have axle caps for running 38’s and comp work.
Front swivel hubs have new kingpin bearings/ wheel bearings and trail gear inner axle seals and trail gear rock seals on swivels.
Front and rear ARB air lockers with ARB twin compressor.
Custom front suspension coil overs with rancho X9000 shocks. X link front crossmember connected to FJ80 control arms on bottom and custom cradle mount on top.
Hydro assist steering ram and PSC steering pump/ pulley and reservoir. Custom HDPE braided piping to steering cooler and ram.
Rear coil overs also fitted with Racho X9000 shocks, 4 link setup with extra long control arms and heavy duty bushes. All suspension joints fitted with spherical bearings and grease points.
Custom chrome moly Exo cage with integrated towbar at rear.
Warn High mount winch with in cab controls. Warn 6hp motor with gigglepin solenoid fitted.
HID Headlights and Rally9000 HID spotlights fitted.
Dual Optima batteries with Redarc controller and in cab override
Starter safety switch
All custom wiring with new relay and fuse box.
Custom aluminium 4” snorkel and airbox. Unifilter ram pod for filtration.
LS2 air conditioning compressor fitted to Landcruiser evaporator and condenser with custom piping and controls
XR8 front seals with custom interior trim. Sound deadening throughout entire cab.
AIM MXG Strada digital dash fitted and fully integrated to Haltech system for computer readout on the run. Mounted on carbon fibre backing plate
Laptop connections in dash for both ECU and Dash. Both fully upgradable and programable.
Sidewinder gear shifter with park and reverse sensors fitted.
Rear tray has 12v outlet and compressed air outlet for hose connection.
Powrbeam spotlight roof controls fitted with plug on roof for light removal.

Custom tray with LED lights at rear and on tray. Lift up panel for spare tyre, fuel system and compressor.
Road legal for 35” tyres and placarded for 38’s off road.
If you are still reading this add you will get the idea that this is one hell of a beast. There will still be plenty I have missed but you get the idea. All parts are either genuine or better than genuine. No Chinese crap featured at all.
This is one of the rarest trucks around now as you cannot get most of these mods engineered anymore. (According to my engineer)
This is 100% street legal with ALL mods engineered and will be happy to sell with a roadworthy as such.
The truck also comes with and complete set (5) of 37” Maxxis Trepadore Bias ply tyres on flipped rims. (Not so legal on the road)
This truck will go absolutely anywhere and without popping a single wheel off the ground. Your mates won’t stand a chance off road.
Engine is a Genuine LS2 (243 heads and short skirt pistons) not an L98 or L77. LS2’s in Australia ONLY came out in HSV’s. Factory 304kw before head and cam mods. Easily over 400hp. Very good torque and sits on 2000rmp with TCC engaged at 100km/h. Has done 20000kms since all major engine work done.
I daily drive this car and it runs as sweet as a nut. Just as happy on the Hwy as off road. Aircon and heater are just as aggressive as any other Toyota. It does not handle like a WRX because it is not one. It has 35’ tyres and a 4 link rear end but again, not what it was built for.
I am in absolutely no rush to offload this truck. No joyrides on inspection. I’ll drive.

Only rust was in RHF upper guard which was replaced when the engine was done.
D/S door has dent from off road, never bothered fixing as that’s what it is made for. All new door hinges and door seals fitted too.
