Cover photo taken at Cortina Nationals in 2025 and a wonderful enhanced picture it is! In real life it’s a little less polished; A 1964 Cortina GT track car with race seats, harnesses and roll cage. It’s Powered by a period 1500 pre-crossflow engine with twin 40 webers. The engine was fully rebuilt in 2021 with forged pistons, crow cam, alloy flywheel, roller rockers, manton pushrods and many other performance parts. Welded differential. Tuned to run on 98 RON. Build sheet available on request. Currently on historic registration and running in the CSCA Super Sprint series in NSW. A few glimpses of the car on track can be seen in the included Youtube video.
Recent tune by Brad Tilley Auto Garage in Brookvale and the dyno delivered 78hp at 5,200 RPM. Spot on factory specification and a very free revving engine out to 6,000+ RPM.
The car is CAMS/MA log booked for Nb class and has been audited recently at CSCA Super Sprints and is compliant. Recent new sticky Yokohama Advan A048 tyres and EBC Blue brake pads. Really good balanced car and a great entry into super sprint, regularity or historic racing.
